If you're given the option, try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair. Then click on the Sims 4 icon, open More > Expansion Packs, scroll down to Island Living, and see whether you have a Download button. If not, I'd suggest creating a copy of your Saves folder and placing it safely elsewhere. Open your game library, click on the Sims 4 icon (probably the one with the Steam logo on it), select More > Expansion Packs, and click the Download button for any pack you own.
